David Lerner Associates Sponsors Exhibit at Nassau County Museum of Art
Syosset, NY, August 22, 2007 -- David Lerner Associates, the Syosset-based investment firm, and a benefactor of the Nassau County Museum of Art, is sponsoring, along with the Belgian Tourist Office-Flanders Region, a never-before-seen exhibition of paintings by Pieter Brueghel the Younger. The exhibit is entitled, “Pieter Brueghel the Younger: An Intimate Encounter,” and runs from August 26th to November 4th.
Pieter Brueghel the Younger was born in 1564 in Brussels. He was famous for his detailed scenes of peasant life, landscapes and religious subjects. His works give a realistic interpretation of contemporary Flemish festivals.
