Position: Registered Sales Assistant
Location: Syosset, New York
Salary: Base Salary + Monthly Sales Bonus
Overview:
David Lerner Associates' Long Island branch office seeks a full-time Registered Sales Assistant to join our sales team. If you are an independent, self-starter who truly enjoys working in a retail brokerage sales environment that provides financial growth, then this career opportunity may be a fit you.
Requirements:
 2+ years work experience with a financial securities firm or similar work environment
Hold current Series 7 and 63 licenses
Must be detailed oriented
Proven ability to troubleshoot issues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Will consider applicants without securities licenses with strong administrative skills, and are willing to study and sit for the licensing exams within the first 3 months of employment.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Managing daily account activities for retail brokerage accounts,
Ensuring proper execution of trade related activity,
Processing and following up on new account paperwork,
Answer phones and assist customers with account inquiries,
Troubleshoot problems,
Other general administrative duties as need.
