This position is responsible for providing professional level administrative, customer service and marketing support to our Investment Counselors and their clients.  Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, and be comfortable with all Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Word and using Outlook calendar for scheduling.


Our Sales Assistants are an integral part of the success of the Investment Counselors they support.  A typical day will include answering phones and providing customer service to our investors and working collaboratively with your assigned Investment Counselor, assisting them as needed.  You may be entering/verifying trade activity, preparing income planners, processing new account paperwork, or attending/preparing for a seminar.


Other important daily tasks will include creating and maintaining customer correspondence, and providing customers with timely information and prompt resolution to their inquiries and concerns.  You will also assist our brokers on operational and administrative questions, and liaison between clients, Investment Counselors and the Operations team.


Qualified candidates should hold current Series 7 and 63 licenses OR be willing to pass within the first 4 months of employment. This is not a deal breaker!  We are more interested in a candidate with strong administrative support skills…licenses can be achieved after hire.


More importantly, you must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.  This is a busy, fast-paced office…we can teach you about the financial services industry, but holding your own in an environment of quickly changing priorities is up to you.
