Are you a mid-level IT Networking professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact every day?  David Lerner Associates, a leading investment firm celebrating 45 years, is seeking a Network Administrator in our Syosset corporate headquarters.

In this position, you will assist the IT department in responding to tickets, implementing emerging technologies, and maintaining the organizations network servers, desktop and mobile workforce.  This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting our entire network infrastructure and ensuring 99.99% uptime.  You will make recommendations for improvement and growth of our infrastructure by analyzing, identifying, and procuring hardware and software to satisfy the needs of our users.  You will work closely with the networking and software teams to monitor and maintain VMware, backups, firewalls, ATP technologies, servers and desktops, as well as Laptops with MFA, encryption and other telecommunications.

Our ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), along with 5 years of practical work experience.  Microsoft certification, SDWAN knowledge and 3+ years cybersecurity experience are preferred.  All candidates must possess strong technical capacity, thoroughness, time management skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.  This job has several physical requirements including the ability to talk and hear, as well as strong visual acuity and sufficient ambulatory skills to stand, walk, crouch, crawl, climb, and to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds.

This is a full time position, office hours Monday through Friday 9a-5p, as well as routine availability after hours when updates and repairs require significant downtime.  Travel is expected to assist our remote branches throughout the tri-state area.
