David Lerner Associates Employee Competes in Florida is Ford Ironman Triathlon Finishes in 13 hours
Throughout the race, Joseph and Kelly completed all the activities virtually side by side, alternating ten-mile intervals ahead of one another on the bike course. The swim took place in the comfortable waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The flat bike course offered the opportunity for a personal best. The run started with one mile along the beachfront before winding its way through a series of residential neighborhoods and a state park.
Competitors enjoyed almost non-stop support as people waited to greet them and cheer them on. The Pickards finished the 140-mile race together in just over 13 hours and 7 minutes.
