David Lerner Associates Hosts 3rd Annual Charity Car Show

Syosset, NY (July 10, 2012)- David Lerner Associates, a financial investments company with corporate headquarters in Syosset, NY, recently partnered up with the Centurion Cruisers Car Club to host the 3^rd Annual David Lerner Associates Charity Car Show. The event raised $3,500 to benefit the Nassau-Suffolk Chapter of the Autism Society of America. This amount was matched by David Lerner, resulting in a total donation of $7,000.

“This is the biggest Charity Car Show we’ve ever had,” said David Lerner, founder of David Lerner Associates. “There are more cars, more people and more excitement, and we think it is just great. We are so glad to be able to help. I would like to thank all of our generous sponsors for allowing us to host this wonderful event and support this worthy cause.”

“Autism touches everyone,” said Suzanne Reek, President of the Nassau-Suffolk Chapter of the Autism Society of America. “We have over 1,600 families in Nassau and Suffolk counties that belong to our group. We spend all of the money that we raise directly on these families. We would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to David Lerner Associates for their dedication and support.”

Approximately 130 restored, classic custom, and high-performance modified cars from a variety of manufacturers were on display at the Charity Car Show. The event also featured a 1950’s band called the Brooklyn Time Machine, along with a raffle featuring a variety of great prizes.

Proceeds from the event were donated to the Nassau-Suffolk Chapter of the Autism Society of America to assist in their mission to provide lifelong access and opportunity for all individuals within the autism spectrum and their families.
