David Lerner Named Honorary Chief by Firefighter is Museum

David Lerner, founder of David Lerner Associates, was recently named an Honorary Chief by the Francis X. Pendl Nassau County Firefighter’s Museum and Education Center. David Lerner Associates donated $5,000 to support the Museum’s 9/11 memorial exhibit, which debuted last September at their Annual Badge of Courage Gala. Mr. Lerner received an Honorary Chief’s helmet to commemorate the event.

"On behalf of David Lerner Associates, I am proud to support the Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center and its exhibit commemorating the heroes of September 11th," said David Lerner, Founder of David Lerner Associates. "I am honored to receive this wonderful distinction. The Museum is a tremendous resource and a fitting tribute to the men and women who risk their lives to protect our communities."

The Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center provides a unique setting for the preservation and interpretation of our local volunteer fire services heritage via the collection, restoration, and exhibition of historic and contemporary firematic memorabilia and equipment. The goal of the Center is to educate and inform the public about fire safety and prevention and to display the proud history of volunteer firefighting in Nassau County.
